Patty
Mom of three and founder of Three Stands Ministries, Patty is passionate about foster families, foster children, adoption, fighting poverty, encouraging moms, helping children become the men and women that they were created to be, loving Jesus, and loving others. Currently, her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11-14, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Britta
Britta grew up in the Pacific Northwest and still calls it home today. She married Scott seven months after they met 20 years ago. Britta and Scott are blessed with five children; a daughter and four sons (three by birth and two by adoption). Britta is passionate about following Jesus, being a helper to Scott, homeschooling, adoption, being a stay-at-home mom, learning about natural health, cooking from scratch, living on one income, building friendships, and dancing with her hubby in the kitchen. She enjoys camping, hiking, bike riding, scrapbooking, playing board games, road trips, and dark chocolate. Britta’s favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
Julie
California native and work-at-home mom of two, Julie spends her days lounging on the couch eating bon bons. Loosely translated, Julie fills the hours wiping urine off the bathroom walls, relearning fractions, refereeing impromptu wrestling matches and watching reruns of Full House. She loves Jesus, her miniature Dachshund, Penny, and Diet Coke. The married mother of two boys, ages 9 and 12, is also a freelance writer, editor and social media marketer with more than 10 years of professional experience. Seana is a grace-receiver, simply living to obey Jesus step by step. In this journey, she married her awesome husband, Jason, who is currently in seminary preparing to pastor. God also led her to serve in full-time ministry for almost ten years in special events, pastoral care, and missions. Kelly is a Christian, wife, homemaker, mother and educator. Her husband Matt works hard so she can teach their three girls at home. Originally from CA, she grew up going to Disneyland every year and is a die-hard Disney fan because of all those great memories. Jan Rosser, M.A., LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Granada Hills, CA. Jan is a biological and adoptive mother who has done extensive research on the psychological effects of infertility and adoption. Jan sees teens, individuals, couples and families and strives to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment for her clients.
